Common Questions
Common Questions
When & where are your services?
Our services are held every Sunday, 10am at The Grand Hall, The Voice Building, Garhoud, Dubai, UAE (just at the exit of GGICO Metro Station, exit no. 2)
My house is far, what can I do?
We offer a free bus transport going to church and going back home. Just send a message to +971 54 777 HOPE (4673) and we will be very happy to assist you.
Are your services in English?
Yes. We are now a thriving church composed of 10 different nationalities, so we speak a language everyone will understand.
Where do I go when I get there?
As you walk into the building, you’ll be greeted warmly by our greeters and they will escort you to your seat. Anytime, you can stop by our Info Desk Center. There, you will be greeted by our host team who can answer any questions you might have about who we are and what we do.
If you need anything throughout the morning, just ask anyone of the volunteers. We’re a friendly bunch, and we’d love to serve you! We’d be glad to meet you, answer your questions, and invite you back for our next Connection Lunch.
How long is the service?
Our services are called “WKND Experiences”. And a WKND Experience lasts about one hour and 30 minutes. We start by singing a few songs, then one of our pastors or a guest speaker delivers a life-giving message. We are also an English speaking church.
Will I be asked to give money?
We don’t want you to feel pressured to give. What we want is for you to enjoy the environment and the worship experience and be blessed in every possible way.
For those who call Hope City as their home church, we encourage them to give financially to God and His church as an act of worship, and never out of compulsion.
What should I wear?
Don’t feel like you have to dress up. Most people wear casual attire, but you are welcome to wear whatever makes you comfortable.
Is parking available?
Yes, at the back of The Voice building.
Do you have coffee?
We do! And we have pastries and sweets as well. And you don’t even have to ask for them when you come. One of our volunteers will offer you one. That’s sweet, isn’t it?
Can I attend if I am _________________________?
Fill in the blank with whatever fear you have about not being accepted: divorced, single parent, broke, recovering addict, atheist, skeptic, etc.
Hope City is #AChurchForAllPeople, so everyone is welcome. Just come as you are. We’re very excited to meet you this weekend.
